Waipunarangi is the whetū connected to the rain. She reminds us that rain is not only a source of life, but of renewal, healing, and growth. Through her, the whenua is nourished, our waterways are replenished, and the natural world is given the opportunity to flourish once more. Waipunarangi teaches us to embrace every season, recognising that even the storms carry purpose and make way for new beginnings.
Inspired by her life-giving presence, we have created two handcrafted taonga that honour the beauty and significance of rain.
Crafted from waterproof PVD gold-plated stainless steel, this exclusive set features an elegant snake chain, an opening locket, and an adjustable bangle, each adorned with carefully placed miro and hand-carved NZ pāua set within delicate roimata forms. Every element has been intentionally chosen to reflect the flowing waters, tears of renewal, and the abundance gifted through Waipunarangi.
