The sixth whetū featured within our Matariki collection
Ururangi 🌬️⭐
Within the Matariki cluster, Ururangi is the whetū connected to the winds. Ururangi reminds us to observe the movement of the hau and changing weather patterns, acknowledging the role that the winds play in sustaining life, guide our journeys, and signal seasonal shifts. The behaviour of the winds was traditionally observed by our tūpuna to help determine the prosperity and wellbeing of the coming year.
Crafted in honour of this whetū, these statement ear cuffs feature PVD stainless steel gold-plated cuffs, adorned with Pōkinikini and Miro delicately circulated around handcrafted Pounamu and Jade beadwork. Each taonga has been individually handcrafted and is a true reflection of whakapapa, taiao, and mātauranga Māori.
Featuring a 48cm total drop length.
